Enigma People Solutions is recruiting a Principal Analogue IC Design Engineer to join our client’s European Design Centre in Edinburgh. Our client is recognised world-wide as providing state-of-the-art motor control IC’s for automotive industry. Your role will be to design and develop advanced analogue/mixed-signal motor control IC's for a broad range of new and existing product applications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design development from concept data sheet to production, as well as work with system engineers and customers to define best solutions for their needs.
  • Oversee the transistor level design phase and mentor junior design engineers in the process.
  • Use various software environments for the behavioural modelling and verification of complex mixed-signal integrated circuit systems.
  • Validate datasheet specifications via top-level simulations.

 

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics
  • Extensive commercial experience in designing Analogue IC’s
  • Automotive and motor control experience
  • BCD process technology experience.
  • Good presentation skills and the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
